The fifth China Green Agriculture Development Forum was held in Haikou city of Hainan province recently. Dejiang county of Guizhou province won the honor of "China's Top Ten Gastrodia County" thanks to its contributions in producing green and ecological gastrodia.
The forum set up a series of green agricultural awards to commend leading counties, districts and enterprises. Honorary titles include "Special Award in China's Green Ecological Contribution" "China Green Ecological Agriculture Demonstration County", "China's Top Ten Gastrodia County" and "County of Green Ecological Agriculture".
More than 80 counties, districts, cities and enterprises applied for the awards, and Dejiang was the only county to win the title of "China's Top Ten Gastrodia County'.
